ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

1. Purpose of this policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what is and is not allowed on Tamil-Meet, the dating application published by SASU RCM Consulting, whichever way it is used (mobile app or web browser). It gathers, in one plain-language document, rules that our Terms of Use (articles 2, 5 and 6) and our Child Safety Standards already state. It does not replace them and creates no new obligation: where they differ, those documents prevail. It is an operational document, not legal advice.

2. Nature of the service

Tamil-Meet is a general-audience dating service for adults of the Tamil community who are looking for a romantic relationship. It is strictly restricted to people aged 18 or over. Tamil-Meet is not an adult content service. Sexually explicit content and nudity are prohibited, in photos as well as in text (bio, messages). The service neither offers nor facilitates paid encounters, sexual services of any kind, or payments between users: the only transaction possible on Tamil-Meet is the Premium subscription, which a user buys for their own account.

3. Prohibited content

The following must not be posted, sent or shared on Tamil-Meet, whether in a profile, a photo or a message: • sexually explicit or pornographic content, or content depicting nudity; • any content involving a minor, or sexualising a person who is, or is presented as, a minor (see our Child Safety Standards); • any intimate or private image of another person shared without their explicit consent, including another user's unblurred photos obtained through the app (screenshots, copies, redistribution); • violent, shocking, hateful or discriminatory content, or content inciting hatred or violence; • unlawful or defamatory content, or content contrary to public order and decency; • personal contact details (phone number, address, social media links) posted for solicitation purposes.

4. Prohibited conduct

The following conduct is prohibited on Tamil-Meet and exposes its author to the measures described in section 8: • Prostitution, escorting, and any offer, request or arrangement of sexual activity or of a meeting in exchange for money or any other benefit. • Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and any form of coercion or exploitation of another person. • Soliciting money, romance scams, phishing, requests for bank or card details, and any other fraud. • Selling, promoting or seeking goods or services, including drugs, weapons and counterfeit goods; any commercial, promotional or advertising use of the service. • Spam, bulk unsolicited messages, bots, automated accounts, automated data extraction, and holding more than one account. • Impersonation, fake profiles, false profile information, and use of someone else's photos. • Harassment, threats, intimidation, abusive behaviour, and continuing to contact someone who has made clear they do not want it. • Circumventing the app's security or moderation measures.

5. Minimum age and child safety

Registration requires a declared date of birth; anyone under 18 is refused a profile. By creating an account, the user declares and warrants that they are at least 18 years old. Any account we discover to belong to a minor is deleted immediately. We apply a zero-tolerance policy to any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation. Our prevention, reporting and response measures, together with the dedicated point of contact (child-safety@tamil-meet.com), are described in our Child Safety Standards, which this policy refers to and does not alter.

6. Photo moderation

Every uploaded photo is analysed by an automated moderation system (Amazon Rekognition) before it becomes visible to other users, to detect explicit nudity, violence, visually disturbing content and hate symbols. A photo found to be non-compliant is rejected, or held for manual review, and its owner is notified. Tamil-Meet reserves the right to remove any photo that breaches this policy, including after publication. Text (bio, messages) is reviewed by our team when it is reported (section 7).

7. Reporting and blocking

From another user's profile (also reachable from a conversation), any user can: • block them: the two profiles become mutually invisible and can no longer exchange messages; • report them, for one of the following reasons: inappropriate photos, harassment, fake profile, spam, or any other reason, with a description. Every report is recorded and reviewed by our team, which examines the profiles involved and decides what action to take (section 8). Content or behaviour can also be reported to us by email at contact@tamil-meet.com, or through the website's contact form (category "Report content or behaviour"). Any report involving a minor should be sent to child-safety@tamil-meet.com.

8. Enforcement

Where this policy or the Terms of Use are breached, Tamil-Meet may take one or more of the following measures, without notice or compensation, depending on the seriousness of the facts: • a warning; • removal of the content concerned (photos, messages); • temporary suspension of the account, which blocks access to it; • permanent deletion of the account, with no refund of any current subscription. Where the law requires it, we report the facts to the competent authorities and cooperate with them. Matters involving child sexual abuse or exploitation are handled as set out in our Child Safety Standards.
